Colonial-Era Hawaiian Home Decor

The art of quilting probably came to the islands with American missionaries in the early nineteenth century. Over the years, Hawaiian quilters have imbued their art with respect for their natural surroundings. Today, pineapples, hibiscus, plumeria and orchids adorn many of our hand-stitched pieces made by master quilters. Sea turtles and dolphins are popular appliqués. Beautiful, collectable quilts make a lovely and meaningful presentation to brides, history buffs, newborns and hobbyists.

We have bedspreads, wall hangings, baby blankets, and pillowslips, as well as placemats for the dining table. Color palettes offer wonderful choices for all kinds of rooms. We also take custom orders for regular or oversized quilts, and can even incorporate your fabric for a completely cohesive interior design.
